Production Supervisor

About the Role

A food processing unit near Thrissur is looking for a Production Supervisor to oversee daily shift operations, maintain output targets and enforce food-safety standards on the production floor.

Responsibilities

• • Supervise shift operations and a team of 25–30 workers
• • Monitor production output against daily targets
• • Ensure FSSAI and hygiene standards are followed
• • Coordinate with quality control on batch clearance
• • Report downtime, wastage and manpower issues to the plant manager

Requirements

• • Diploma or degree in Food Technology, Mechanical or Production Engineering
• • 3+ years supervisory experience in a manufacturing or processing unit
• • Familiarity with FSSAI / GMP requirements
• • Ability to manage shift teams and handle floor-level problem solving
